Nature and Mindfulness (English Version)


Nature and Mindfulness is a peruvian initiative to reconnect people with and become closer to nature. This is done through gentle walks, hikes and retreats in nature with the support of guided activities that help participants to better connect with their senses, strengthen their intuition and experience nature in its fullness. 

Nature and Mindfulness walks and hikes are inspired by the Japanese practice called Forest Therapy or Shinrin-Yoku, which consists of immersing oneself in nature and in the atmosphere of the forest to achieve deep relaxation, enjoyment and health benefits.

Research and scientific evidence show that by immersing ourselves in the natural world with mindfulness, our nervous system calms down, our senses are enhanced, our minds rest and our bodies heal.

Among the many benefits of this practice are lowering blood pressure, strengthening the immune system, improving cognitive and focusing ability, greater creativity, more confidence and overall well-being.


Nature and Mindfulness team

We are a group of friends and colleagues who share training and experience in various practices of personal development and mindfulness, which we recognise has enhanced our reconnection with nature and its healing power.

We feel motivated to invite and share with others the walks, hikes and other guided activities that we offer which help to enhance the senses, focus attention in the here and now, and achieve the conditions necessary to appreciate and enjoy more deeply the beauty and healing power of nature.

We have learned that the experiences of connection with nature, having tested its favorable effects on physical and emotional health, can assist us in developing practices of revaluation, respect, care and closeness to the beautiful, diverse and generous nature.
